- Dr. Solomon Ofori-Acquah will work closely with a transdisciplinary team of investigators across the state of Georgia to expand Children鈥檚 treatment footprint, conduct clinical trials, and improve access to new therapies and treatment modalities for children with Sickle Cell Disease

As Vice Chair of Research for the Department of Pediatrics, Dr. Ofori-Acquah will:
- Lead the 海角社区 Department of Pediatrics faculty/residents/students in research education/training.
- Take the 海角社区 Department of Pediatrics to the next level in basic science and clinical research.
